Alt rock/pop arist Scott Hinkson has had quite the highlight reel of accomplishments in the last year and is travelling to Vancouver as part of New Music West 2007 to showcase some
of the songs that have done well, and new ones he hopes will do even better.

The Winnipegger released his album "TRACKING OUTSIDE IN" early in 2006 and the two singles ("Everything Solo" and "Lately") off the album managed a mixed of mainstream and
college radio play all across the country. After earning favorable reviews in the press, Hinkson won a songwriting award (www.songoftheyear.com) in the Rock category and the
interest and nod from one of his mentors, KEN ANDREWS(FAILURE, ON, Pete Yorn).

Fans of Joseph Arthur, Jeff Buckley, Chris Cornell, and Daniel Lanois stylings would do well visiting Hinkson's showcase MAY 3RD at the PURPLE CRAB. Joseph Arthur is in town that same night, head to Hinkson's show for a warm-up you won't forget.
