Dear members of the Flock,


I hope you are all doing very well, and enjoying this beautiful summer we are having. It seems like everywhere we have been going lately has had perfect weather right when we needed it!

Despite our love of summer, we are super excited about the fall and all the great things that accompany it. First off, we are proud to announce our partnership with Manitoba Harvest, a fantastic hemp foods company based out of Winnipeg. You may have seen their hemp seeds, oils, butters or protein powders in your local grocery, or perhaps at Wild Oats. There are many reasons why we are so excited to be combining efforts with this great team of people � they treat the farmers with respect, they have the freshest products on the market, and their enthusiasm and commitment to being the change they wish to see in the world is a great inspiration to us. We encourage all of you, if you have not yet already tried their products, to give it a go.

When I get back to Winnipeg, I'll be testing out some of my recipes I've been sketching out while on the road, and I'll post my successful ones for you to try out.

On a personal note, I wanted to give you a little peek into something that has me very excited � Barry Dudley, from Atlanta, GA, is building me a gorgeous 5-string fiddle! He has permitted me to share with you some of the photos of the progress he's making. The Duhks will be are very excited to be spending the Fall in Europe this year! They will make a special appearance at The Fleadh Festival in Ireland this weekend before heading back to the states for a stop in Ohio and on to the Wheatland Music Festival in Michigan. Then, the band will be overseas in Europe for the majority of September and October. If you will be in the area, be sure to check out the Duhks in a new setting for them!
