The Festival Celebrates 35 Years

2008 will be the 35th anniversary of the Winnipeg Folk Festival and we are creating a special on-line scrapbook of festival memories. Each week we will feature a year of the folk festival through pictures and words. You can relive each year of the Winnipeg Folk Festival, one week at a time. Visit winnipegfolkfestival.ca starting November 8th for a weekly countdown to the 2008 Winnipeg Folk Festival, July 10-13.

Do you have a story that would sound great in our Festival timeline? Send your festival memories to stories@winnipegfolkfestival.ca, and make sure to mention that it is okay to publish your name and story in the timeline. The only other catch: you must be able to remember what year of the festival your story happened! Plus, we are looking for photos of your festival memorabilia (volunteer T-shirts, etc) from past years.
