Darcia Senft & James Hickerson

Since they combined talents a few years ago, Darcia & James have now performed in a number of communities and festivals across the Province. In the process they have endured one ice storm, experienced some wonderful rural hospitality, eaten some hearty prairie food, and generally had a fantastic time playing their home-spun tunes for audiences of all ages. This past year, they have hit the song-writing books and are currently in the process of recording their third cd together, following up on the success of "Take Time" and "Dirt Floor House." What is their sound? Think of Gillian Welch and David Rawlings having a pot-luck with Johnny Cash and Carole King in a dirt floor house where specialties are combined and the result is soul-satisfying. Darcia & James will launch their new cd "Storms in the Cellar" on Saturday November 29/08 at The Park Theatre.
