Artist Submissions now being accepted

Shine Thru Rain Festival of Music and Art is now accepting submissions from Musical artists, Bands, and Performing arts groups for the 2008 Shine Thru Festival Held August 22-24 in Kerry Manitoba.

STR will be hosting it's 4th annual festival this summer featuring up to 30 local acts with many Payed Slots available. It is a fast growing local music and art festival set in beautiful forested parkland which includes campgrounds, and an 18-hole frisbee golf course. Past Artists have included, The Fo!ps, DJ RGP, the Fire Pyxies, Mahagony Frog, The Upsides, LIttle Black Dress, the Nods and many more.

To submit please fill out a registration form, which is downloadable from our facebook page and our web-site (www.shinethrurain.com) and Submit it by mail or email along with a press kit (digital prefered and must be complete) to
address at bottom. By May 1st


Press kit must include:
1)Press quality photo in Jpeg format Can be on a CD
2)Short Bio (40 word max; may be edited) (This is for our printed program)
3)Long Bio No Max. (this is so you can have all the time you need to tell us how great your are)

4)Rider - (Explanation of all the gear that is required in your stage set-up and any particularities regarding set-up)
5)A list of past Show/Tour dates in the past Two Years and upcoming dates for us to check you out.
(May be on a separate sheet)

6)Demo of at least 3 tracks
