The Winnipeg Folk Festivals FESTIVAL CAMPGROUND is now sold out. This is the fourth year in a row that the Festival Campground has sold out, but this year has been the fastest sell-out yet.

Dont despair! If you want to camp at the Festival, there is still room in the Festivals Quiet Campground. Festival tickets and Quiet Campground passes are available at the Festival Music Store (211 Bannatyne Avenue, at Albert) or at Ticketmaster.

The Quiet Campground is the second Festival-run campground in Birds Hill Park. It is further from the Festival site than the primary Festival campground but serviced by a shuttle bus. As its name suggests, the Quiet Campground is quiet! It also opens a day later than the Festival Campground (the Quiet Campground opens at noon on Thursday, July 10; the Festival campground opens at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9).

Each camper must have both a four-day Festival pass plus the appropriate camping pass in order to camp. Quiet Campground passes do not allow access to the Festival Campground.

The 35th annual Winnipeg Folk Festival happens on July 10 to 13 in Birds Hill Park. Highlight acts include Ray Davies, Jakob Dylan and the Gold Mountain Rebels, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Joan Armatrading, Lee Scratch Perry, Nanci Griffith, The Weakerthans and Calexico.

The Festival Campground is capped at 5,600 tickets.
