Haunter and The Debut Album

The Winnipeg rock 'n' roll band named Haunter is releasing their first full-length album in June at one of their old "haunts" (couldn't resist!). Here are some things about it:

- It features important guest spots by members from two of Winnipeg's best and most well-known bands.

- It features members of Slow Dancers and Cannon Bros. who were already in Haunter to begin with.

- It is almost 50 minutes long.

- There are 11 songs on it, but one song is a short instrumental.

- It will be put out by the band's friends Disintegration Records, who do great BBQ's.

- Alex Sannie of local hip-hop group The Lytics will be remixing one of the songs for release at the same time.

- It was Haunter's 5th anniversary this past Valentine's Day, which means it's taken them a long time to finally put out a full-length record.

- It was recorded andmixed by award-winning engineer Cam Loeppky.

- Unlike previous releases, there are no songs about zombies or Twin Peaks.

- Haunter hopes the first single will finally make good on their promise to write, "the feel-good hit of summer '09."

More info will be available in the coming months. Until then, party on, friends.

Love,

Haunter
