RJ and The Boys "Get On With It Now" set for release

Well very happy to report great news in the RJ and The Boys Camp, The Boys as of today are #1 Local,#1 Nation and gaining daily in the Global Americana Charts on Reverbnation in their genre, all as they get ready to release the bands 1st new studio album in 6 years and 1st release since '08.

June 8th saw RJ and The Boys, play their 1st live show since '09 and they are back at it again June 22nd at the Swan River Legion, RJ is very happy to be playing this venue, as the Bands Roots go back to the Old "downtown" legion branch #63 in Saskatoon.

"in the early days,with our 50's-60's retro sound it was really hard to find a venue, we made a deal with the #63 Legion Clubroom in Saskatoon, 1st show we had a small crowd, by the time we played our 3-4th shows it was standing room only in a clubroom that held over 275 people. The Bands 1st CD release party in 2005 was a packed house with many people not finding a seat". RJ adds, "Was a great moment for us, as many thought it would never fly"

RJ also reports that the band is already recording an album set for next year, as well! RJ Jokes "No rest for the wicked", laughs it off and points out, "Really when you love this era as much as we do, it's all fun!"

A CD release party is planned for the fall
