It’s Official WHY was invited by the ONE campaign (Non- Partisan Grassroots Movement For Poverty Justice, started by U2 singer BONO) to shoot a live low fi performance of Protest Song in a public location. WHY had short window to rehearse and shoot it. They had one rehearsal and shot it the next night atop to Historic Marlborough Hotel in Winnipeg. Fellow Winnipeg artist FLO joined WHY in this hit and run shoot, directors Caitlin Quigley(who shot Sean Quigley’s viral hit “Little Drummer Boy”) and Brittney McIntosh a were able to capture their performance of the Rolling Stones classic “Gimme Shelter”. WHY was the only Winnipeg,(Canadian Rock Band) asked to do this.
 

Other Artists Involved: U2, Green Day, Usher, Will.I.Am, Bruce Springsteen, Mumford and Sons with Elvis Costello, Sting, Ed Sheeran, Muse, Aerosmith, One Direction and more.
