2013 has been the banner year for RJ and The Boys, not only did it see a new album (1st in several years) but It also is seeing the 1st releases from the groups upcoming 2014 album.

It's more of the classic Rockabilly and British Invasion sound the band is known for.

If you really like the 55-66ish era, this is the band for you, from the Sounds of 50's Sun Records-British 60's right the Folk-Rock boom of the Byrds, it's all here.

1st songs out of the gate are "You Know You Will, No Don't Do That and Bad Boppin' Baby"

"This is a very important year for us, we have started working on a return the UK for some shows, as we've been asked by a fundraiser group based out of Liverpool to open a show for them"

The group is former Merseyside musicians who raise for local causes, RJ adds "Liverpool gave the world of Music so much, I think as Musicians, it's nice to give back to the City that gave us all so much great music"

Also a great way to celebrate the bands 10th year.

What's next for the Boys?

"Well I think it's getting to be time do another Video and a Cover-song album, so after this next album is out, I think that's the plan,"

Whatever the plans are the group is really enjoying the great response for indie/internet radio and it's fan support via socal-media.

RJ points out, "This whole new world of socal-media is awesome for us, I mean we wouldn't stand a chance if it wasn't for being able to release our music, our way"

As of Oct 16th the Band held both #1 spots on their reverbnation site, Local and National for their genre.

So people are listening and really enjoying those retro-roots sounds of the 50's-60's

"I'm so glad it is being enjoyed by so many and right around the globe too, this music is my Passion, as is the whole era, when I'm not in the Studio, I'm in my garage restoring a 50's Studebaker and boppin away to my oldies, cranked right up!!" -RJ

Well we hope RJ and the Boys keeps "crankin' 'em out" for years to come and become as timeless as the era they love.
