Performing On A Ninety Foot High Stage

Towards the end of February, Warren Friesen decided to enter CBC Musics Searchlight New Artist Competition.  After the first round of online voting, Friesen found himself in the top 25 in Manitoba.  His next step was to secure enough votes, in the second round of voting, to get himself in the top 10.  In order to encourage people to vote him into the top 10, Friesen promised to climb to the top of a 90 foot silo, along with his guitar, and sing his title track "Where Wheat Grew Tall" on top of it.
