2018 Home Routes Tour

After a string of festival and event dates in the USA with her band, Tracy K will be venturing out in February en duo with Jamie Steinhoff, her Blues Duo partner. Acoustic, Traditional, Contemporary and Original, their music is comprised of acoustic fingerstyle guitar, slide, dobro, harmonica and vocals in the real folk blues and pre-war traditions. The uptempo repertoire includes rags, stomps, ballads, and folk stories. The duo has a few dates in the local area before hitting the road for fourteen days in Southern Manitoba including a stop in Saskatchewan. Tracy and Jamie were quarter finalists in the Memphis International Blues Cahallenge in 2014 and have played festivals, theatres, and blues/folk society events. They've opened for Rambliin' Jack Elliot on tour in Southern Ontario and shared a double bill with John Sebastien in the Caribbean. Their only recording "Canned Heat" released in 2011 garnered international status as a five star album and kick started their touring career.
