CBC Music has announced their national top 100 for the 2018 Searchlight contest, and Winnipeg's own Odder than the Otters have made the "Top 50 finalists as determined by judges" for their song, "Hola Luna."

Along with six other Manitoban artists, the Otters have now progressed to Round 2 of the competition to determine the top 10 national finalists. Again, half of these finalists will be determined by popular vote, and the other half will be selected through internal judging by a team of CBC Music producers.

Vote for Odder than the Otters in Round 2 of CBC Searchlight here. Individuals may vote once a day up until voting closes on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. The national top 10 will be announced on Thursday, March 8.

The grand prize winner will be announced on CBC's Q on March 19. The grand prize includes an Allan Slaight Juno Master Class and Juno Awards experience, a residency at Studio Bell (home of the National Music Centre) and a performance at the CBC Music Festival in Toronto.
