Robert Wilson, Fresh IE,  is a local Winnipeg singer-songwriter, and producer.  Fresh was the the first Canadian rapper to be nominated for a Grammy Award in 2003.  Fresh has won multiple accolades,  22 Covenant Awards, and a Gospel Music Award.  

 

Fresh’s new release, ILL Street Blues is formed from a mold that has been tested through fire.  Fresh IE brings out a flavour that has been lost in time.

 

Fresh IE has an amazing story from once living a life of struggles and dysfunction to creating music that not only has impacted his own soul but he is reaching the hearts of so many lives right here in Winnipeg, and across this great nation. 

 

Fresh is also known for his philanthropic efforts and believes in giving back.  Through music, Robert spends hours developing young artists that find themselves struggling with unfair hits and struggles of life.
