Leon’s Getting Larger has released the sprawling, cathartic new single, “Don’t Call Me Jared” along with the announcement of their debut album. You Be Good Now. The emo revival trio has been hard at work since the release of 2023’s Or Something EP, with releasing singles, playing dates in Western Canada and making their festival debut at Rainbow Trout, all to build a grassroots word-of-mouth hype ahead of their first major project. The album is set to release on November 29th and includes the singles "Oh The Places You'll Go" and "Seasoned Alive" from earlier in the year.

The 8 tracks on You Be Good Now were recorded by Jordan Voth at Ricochet Recording in the summer of 2023 and reflect the band’s taste for modern emo riffage and 90s post-hardcore-infused build and release. “Don’t Call Me Jared”, already a familiar favourite of Leon’s Getting Larger’s energetic live set, boasts a six minute runtime that stretches across everything the band set out to do with the album.

“Don’t Call Me Jared” releases ahead of Leon’s Getting Larger’s show at Sidestage on October 26th to ring in the new venue’s first Halloween weekend.
