About

The Manitoba Electronic Music Exhibition of Technology, Innovation & Creativity (MEMETIC) is the organization that organizes the annual MEME festival and other smaller events and workshops throughout the year. MEMETIC is made up of a group of like-minded people who are passionate about electronic music and cutting edge multi-media art. MEMETIC is dedicated to the dissemination and development of digital creativity in sound, music, and audio-visual art. Its mandate is to provide a platform for the most original and visionary artists currently working in their fields, with the intent of providing an outlet of initiation and discovery for its audiences. MEMETIC has a specific focus on Canadian musicians and artists but also looks to continually nurture international networks so that we can promote electronic music artists from Manitoba to the rest of the world.
