“Rainbow in the Sky” [is Prairie Exile's] debut, a project that melds influences from Folk, Rock, Country, and Pop in varying degrees, into an appealing and artistic blend. Personal favourites include the up-tempo rocker “Fight the Fire with Fire” and the anthemic “Saturday Afternoon” while other highlights include the reflective “Too Far” and the rhythmic “On My Mind”. So kudos are now due to Prairie Exile and their “Rainbow in the Sky” CD - as fine an indie release as you’re likely to find in quite some time!
