For the past year the band has been hunkered down in the studio, working on an entirely self-produced collection of southern-tinged Americana/roots music. Entitled ‘Hearts Gone Cold’, the album blends vocal harmony, acoustic and electric guitar, slide, pedal steel, accordion, banjo, organ, cajon and drums.

Although the ingredients are traditional, the resulting sound evokes distinctively dark, lush imagery from North American history and the band members' own storied lives. The first single will be "The Mad Butcher of Kingsbury Run", based on a true story of a madman who terrorized Cleveland in the 1930s.

The album release party will be held at at a Maw’s, a new live music venue and beer hall in Winnipeg’s historic Exchange district, on Friday, March 20.
