I’ve spent an insane amount of hours working on this project during one of the best summers of my life. I’m extremely grateful that I even had the opportunity to create this in the first place.
So many of you supported me with this project and I love you all for it. One reason I chose this picture as the album cover is that it represents vulnerability to me, which I feel by exposing my soul through this album. The pink taint represents love. My dog, Boubou, represents friendship and loss. The cover also represents the child in me, who convinced the adult ‘me’ to follow my dreams and create this album. I could go on. Every artist out there knows how much thought and love goes in to their own projects. I promise you that every lyric and every sound in this album was put there for a reason to make it what it is now. I really wanted this album to be perfect, to be the absolute best I could do, until I realized that that isn’t possible. So I created a flawed album. And I love it for that reason.

(Julien Poirier) I’m proud to say that I’ve made this album completely alone from start to finish, writing all the parts for all the instruments, recording/performing all those parts, and then mixing and mastering it all by myself, in my subpar bedroom ‘studio’.
