A new single written by the boys from Doc Walker. Chris Thorstienson, Dave Wasyliw and Murray Pulver. Its a great country song! A real story behind it. Sitting by the fire in 2019 with lead singer Chris Thorstienson, campers at Vakker beach were all hanging out by a beautiful campfire as the sun had set over lake Manitoba. Chris was playing songs that Doc Walker had written, but never released. He sang a song about a past engagment. The way he told the story and sang the song it resonated with me. It was stuck in my head. It was then decided that this song needed to be recorded. I approached Chris 3 weeks later and asked if he would mind for me to record it. Chris was excited and said "absolutley". Murray Pulver was then approached to see if he would produce the single. It only made sense since he was the co-writer on this project. It just so happened he had a slot and we headed into the studio in November of 2019. With Christmas on the way the release was set for March 27,2020. Just in time for spring. Its a totally new sound with all the elements of a great country song.
