TWW is a double single release featuring version 1.0 and version 2.0.
"The Whole World's Coming Over To My House" was written in DTLA in 2016 with Party Nails.
Version 1.0 was co-produced by Daggerss and Party Nails remotely in North Vancouver, Altona and Los Angeles between 2021-2022. It was mixed by Elisa Pangsaeng in spring 2022, and mastered by Brock McFarlane at CPS Mastering in Vancouver, BC. Party Nails was testing out some gear for Mellotron, she laid those many Mellotron tracks (plus bass and vocals) over my upright piano / vocal recording, and we later had LA based drummer Anna Crane (Rebecca Black, Blondshell) record drums on the song.
Version 2.0 was produced, performed and mixed by Daggerss at Sprkl Studio (Altona, MB) in the summer of 2024. Mastered by Brock McFarlane. There’s a lot of ‘bowbowbowbow’ bass and this one is more like a party.
This song feels so important to spread good vibes and remind people that we are allllllll people made of stardust and we’re all just trying to survive and it’s way better to be cool and help each other out.
The song is an invitation for people are gathering for love and connection and be truly themselves.
