The live show is back.

Following in the tradition of Winnipeg television shows 10:00 Live and 10:30 Live, Shaw TV is ready to launch Live at the West End - a concert-based show highlighting Manitoba music, co-produced by local industry mainstay Johnny Marlow.

Taped at the venerable  West End Cultural Centre, the half-hour show will feature music and interviews with some of Manitoba's best music acts from every possible genre. Local Arts and Entertainment reporter Tracy Koga will host, recording two shows back-to-back.

The first show will take place on June 12, featuring groovy funk outfit Moses Mayes at 7:30pm and bluegrass monsters D.Rangers at 8:30pm. All Live at the West End concerts will be free to the public.

Bands looking to submit music to participate in future shows can contact Marlow at jmarlow@mts.net.
