The VaGiants Sign Record Deal

Posted on

Talk about a match made in heaven: local throwback garage quartet The VaGiants have landed a U.S. deal with Ohio-based Sin Klub Entertainment. The imprint is set to re-release the bands debut album, Short and Hard and give them a helping hand with distribution south of the 49th parallel.

Sin Klub is currently distributed by Chicagos MAD and is in the formative stages of a relationship with Cargo Distribution. While getting CDs onto shelves is a huge priority for the femme-fronted rockers, the added bonus of an international backing plays a huge part in the bands plans for the coming year. Currently on tour in the states, The VaGiants will be spending mid-February traveling across Ontario.

The re-release of (which includes a bonus cover of The Chantels Maybe) is set for the end of February in Toledo. Local fans can get their fix directly from the band, but will have to wait until the next hometown show likely toward the end of April when the band plays a sendoff show before heading west.
