Aim right for the TVs in their lives

Indie rock outfit Novillero officially released its two videos on August 25 at a private party in the Park Theatre. Audiences were treated to a large screen viewing of “The Hypothesist” and “The Art of Carrying On,” both of which are off Aim Right for the Holes in Their Lives.
Novillero also presented the one-hour episode of hit show Monk, which the band flew to Los Angeles in June to shoot. The episode revolves around a copyright infringement-related murder that takes place at a fictional rock festival where Novillero not only performs but even has a few lines. Actor Tony Shalhoub won a second Emmy Award for his portrayal of the titular OCD-addled lead on August 27.
Novillero’s version of Barry McGuire’s “Eve of Destruction” is featured in episode #6 of the new show Eureka. The episode aired in the U.S. on the Sci-Fi channel on August 23 and will air here in Canada on the Space Channel sometime in October. Meanwhile, you can listen to the song on the Novillero MySpace page.
