Artists Celebrate Earth Day

Award-winning world music vocal act Madrigaïa will headline the 1st Annual Earth Day Celebration and Fundraiser for JUST Community Market and the Organic Food Council of Manitoba on April 22 at the Pyramid. Also playing are John Weier, The Antigravity Project, and JUST Artists founder Rik Leaf (aka Tribe of One).

JUST Community Market is a newly formed marketing co-operative whose mandate is to promote ethical food producers, businesses and artisans by nurturing creative culture. The Co-op is committed to building harmonious local networks and healthy sustainable communities in the Winnipeg and Manitoba by "bringing people and places together."

Busking acts include Vanessa Kuzina, JD Edwards, and Lois Gillespie. Also taking place will be the 1st Annual JUST Words Poetry Slam, and a seed and used tool exchange. A variety of exhibiters and merchants will also be featured.
