Avery Lipman (former VP) has been announced as the new co-president for Universal/Republic Records, says Mel Lewinter, Chairman, UMRG and Monte Lipman, President/CEO, Universal Republic.
Lewinter stated in the A&R Worldwide Music & Media newsletter, “Avery is among the very best in the new generation of true record executives.” And added, “His rare combination of leadership, creative sensibility and business acumen have been instrumental in helping Universal Republic achieve the success it has in such a short period of time.
