What Did You Do Over the Holidays?
Welcome to 2009 and for those of you who had a bit of a break, welcome back to work. Anyone else harbour deep resentment towards their alarm clocks this morning?
If Facebook activity is an accurate representation of reality, just about everyone I know had a busy holiday season. They went to concerts and movies and, like, did stuff. Outside. With other people. *Shudder*
I did not. I stayed inside and went back and forth between reading Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell and making an elaborate, five-hour playlist in iTunes. (I may also have watched an obscene amount of television.)
It ended up being my 100 favourite songs from the past year. Not necessarily released in the past year, mind you because I appear to be at least six months behind the rest of the world in discovering new music.
