Jazz Festival celebrates 20 years!
Music lovers can rejoice because the Jazz Winnipeg Festival is upon us. This week we devote the entire show towards sharing some of our favorite picks for the next week of music. And I gotta tell ya, it's more than just jazz. If you're into world, blues, electro dance, funk, indie rock, soul, big band, Brasilian or R&B, then you should probably take a look at this year's lineup.
Wab will introduce Blue King Brown, a multi-cultural crew from Australia who will be bringing fun beats and a strong message to the Exchange District.
Plus, music from locals like Flo, Boats, Moses Mayes, Flying Fox and the Hunter Gatherers... and some folks from other parts of this fine country too, like Toronto singer,writer and pianist Elizabeth Shepherd. And of course, there will be chances to win tickets to some of the concerts!
