Contact Ouest 2010 Comes to Manitoba

More than 150 artists, agents, broadcasters, promoters, and producers converge on Winnipeg this month for Contact Ouest 2010: Edition Manitobaine. Running September 23-26, the French language event features performances in every artistic discipline, including music, dance, and comedy, connecting artists to influential presenters from across the country. 

This year's event features showcases by Manitoba acts Gérald Laroche and Gilles Chabenat, KIN, Madame Diva, Justin Lacroix Band, Les Surveillantes, and Nadia Gaudet at the Le Centre culturel franco-manitobain's Pauline-Boutal Hall. Other showcase performers include Lennie Gallant, Guillaume Arsenault, and Alexis Normand.

While primarily for arts presents, the showcases are open to the public and tickets are available for $10.Click here for the complete showcase schedule.
