Manitoba Music Night at New Music Wednesdays

Posted on

New Music Wednesdays is an exciting weekly concert series featuring local music in all genres, presented by the Osborne Village Inn in partnership with Manitoba Music. The series, which features three acts every Wednesday at Ozzy's, is a breeding ground for new bands in Manitoba's vibrant original music scene. It's a great new opportunity for Manitoba artists and bands to get on stage to make new fans, try out new tunes, and perfect their live show. Whether you play rock, hip hop, roots, jazz, pop, world, electronica, or anything beyond or in-between, you can submit to be a part of New Music Wednesdays.

The first Wednesday of every month is Manitoba Music Night at NMW and features exclusively Manitoba Music members, hosted by Breakfast Television's Jenna Khan and Indie Studio's Pamela Roz. Manitoba Music Night performers are able to access increased promotional opportunities.

WHO CAN APPLY
NMW is open to all genres and all Manitoba artists, including solo acts and bands.
You don't have to have an album, tour, or showcase under your belt but you should be able to play a 30 to 45-minute set of solid music. This is a great event for emerging acts.

HOW TO APPLY
NMW features three bands per show. Manitoba Music is now booking Manitoba Music Night and we are currently looking for performers for the the first Wednesday of every month.

To apply for the other NMW nights, email Lisa at osbornevillageinnofficial@live.ca and include the same info requested above.
