Manitoba Music is firing up the Scotiabank Stage at The Forks this year for Canada Day. Performing for an audience of thousands who gather at The Forks to celebrate our nation’s birthday, the main stage event features six diverse local acts, culminating in unique collaboration between indie pop darlings The Liptonians and Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.
Up and coming rock outfit Take Me To The Pilot kicks things off at 4pm, followed by sets by indie rockers Haunter, Dixieland-tinged roots band The F-Holes, hip-hop act Magnum K.I., and country rocker Jason Kirkness. Hosted by Mama Cutsworth and Hot 103's Tweet Fleet, the day of entertainment will be capped off by The Liptonians and Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra joining forces to accompany the captivating fireworks display.
