Bell Media Names Jodi King Emerging Artist of the Month
Bell Media has tapped Jodi King as its Emerging Artist this month. Throughout November, the singer/songwriter will be featured on Bell Media and CHUM family stations across the country. That exposure has turned into real results, including a top 50 spot on the national music charts.
King, who is fresh from a sold-out show in Shanghai, has also launched a new video for her song "Happy", which could be popping up on MuchMusic and MuchMoreMusic very soon. You can also grab the tune for yourself at iTunes Canada.
King has also released a seven-song Christmas EP, Listen to the Angels, and will hit the road next month for a dates in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia. Local audiences will be able to catch her live on December 9 at Eastview Community Church.
Meanwhile, King is in the Philippines, playing in schools and churches and doing a show in Manila's 22,000-seat Areneta Colosseum along with expats Starfield.
