Get Your Fringe On at The Cube
The 25th Annual Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival is upon us and The Cube stage is bursting with entertainment in the form of jugglers, aerial artists, fire eaters, and the most death-defying acts of them all… live music!
From July 18-29, local bands get their Fringe on with performances from noon until midnight. Featured bands include:
July 18: Kyla Cederwall, The Noble Theifs
July 19: Jordyn Lumsden, Mise En Scene, Mariachi Ghost
July 20: Sweet Alibi, Cannon Bros., Enjoy Your Pumas
July 21: Sweet Alibi, Romi Mayes
July 22: Jamie Rumley, The Empty Standards, Jason Maas and The Lower Companions
July 23: Cannon Bros., The Dirty Catfish Brass Band, Jason Kirkness
July 24: The Dirty Catfish Band, Kobalt, Mas Headspace
July 25: Taylor & Young, The Perms, Federal Lights
July 26: Kobalt, Yes We Mystic, Tyler Del Pino, The JD Edwards Band, Sean Brown
July 27: Jordyn Lumsden, The Liptonians
July 29: Ras-Tamils
In addition to the outdoor stage, acclaimed Japanese drumming group Fubuki Daiko, will present its first Fringe Festival show, Godzilla vs. Led Zeppelin, at the Winnipeg Art Gallery (Venue #12).
Meanwhile, Tom Keenan will be performing his original music writen for the play Artichoke Heart, staged at Manitoba Theatre for Young People (Venue #9).
