Meet the Songwriter in Residence - Del Barber

Meet songwriter/performer Del Barber, who will be joining us Friday, June 20 for our summer Songwriter in Residence series.

About Del Barber 
Barber has emerged as one of the next wave in this country’s proud tradition of songwriting talent. Released by True North Records and the follow-up to his award-winning albums Love Songs for the Last Twenty and Headwaters, Prairieography is the earnest travelogue of a wandering troubadour, and the realization that creativity is rarely a bolt of lightning. Barber sings from the heart about his roots, telling tales from the road, and offering incredibly personal and sincere observations of the world around him. 

About the Workshop
Del will work in one hour, one-on-one sessions with local songwriters to help shape a song. Potential applicants are encouraged to bring in a partially-completed composition as a starting point.
