Pride is celebrating 30 years in Winnipeg and everyone is invited to the party.

The annual event kicked off on May 26 with a variety of activities throughout the city, culminating in the festival at The Forks on June 3 and 4. Featuring two days of live music, this year's Pride Festival at The Forks welcomes an eclectic lineup to the Festival Stage, including locals like JUNO-winning singer/songwriter William Prince, dark synthpop duo Ghost Twin, indie rockers Mulligrub, soul/pop outfit Lanikai, alt-rock four-piece Silence Kit, alt-popsters Paisley, R&B/jazz/folk act Kenzie Jane, bilingual folk/funk troubadour Justin Lacroix, sibling folk duo Roger Roger, singer/songwriters Hors. and Nic Dyson, and more. Touring acts hitting the stage include blistering rock duo The Pack A.D. and mercurial indie pop band The Hidden Cameras.

Other events taking place during this year's festival include the flag raising ceremony at City Hall and of course the always inspiring and impressive rally and parade.

There are also plenty live music community events taking place throughout Pride, including A Women's Event with Mama Cutsworth at the Pyramid (June 3), Ladies Night Black Party at Forth (June 3), QTPOC Drop the Mic at The Good Will followed by the Colour Me Queer party (June 4), and more.
