Indian City Lands Five Native American Music Awards Noms

Indian City has landed five nominations for this year's Native American Music Awards.

The folk pop outfit earned nods for Best Group/Duo of the Year, Best Pop Recording, and Record of the Year for its latest album, Here & Now. The band also picked up nominations for Song of the Year for the title track and Best Music Video Recording for "Through the Flood".

Indian City is no stranger to awards galas, landing recent honours for The JUNO AwardsIndigenous Music Awards, Western Canadian Music Awards, and Indian Summer Music Awards. Led by Vince Fontaine (Rising Sun Productions, Eagle & Hawk), the collective of musicians adds to the growing number of Indigenous artists sharing towards a strong and fair legacy of Indigenous people.  

The winners will be revealed at the 18th annual NAMA gala on October 12 at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in in Niagara Falls, New York. Find out more about NAMA at nativeamericanmusicawards.com
