Pride Winnipeg is ready to bring it's 2019 festivities to the city.

The annual event kicks off on May 24 with a variety of activities throughout the city, culminating in the festival at The Forks on June 1 and 2. Featuring two days of live music, this year's Pride Winnipeg Festival welcomes a diverse lineup to the main stage, including psychadelic rock outfit Apollo Suns and  live hip hop outfit Super Duty Tough Work from Winnipeg. Touring acts hitting the stage include poet/singer/songwriter/visual artist Kimmortal, and DJ Bambii

This year will also see the new edition of a children's stage featuring more live music from Madame Diva, chamber folk artist Raine Hamilton, folk act Paul Bergman, singer/songwriter Jada, and dance pop act French Class, as well as a workshop from the folks at Girls Rock Winnipeg

Other events taking place during this year's festival include the flag raising ceremony at City Hall, vigil, Trans March, and the always inspiring and impressive rally and parade.

There are also plenty community events taking place throughout Pride, including dance parties, drag performances, DJs, film, and more. Check out all the community events
