Showcase Opportunity: Ignite BreakOut West

Manitoba Music is partnering with BreakOut West to present an industry showcase leading up to the 2022 BreakOut West conference and festival in Winnipeg. This is an opportunity to perform for and network with international industry professionals participating in BreakOut West, including one-on-one mentor meetings and round-table discussions. This project will have a strong focus on gender diversity and BIPOC and LGBTQ2S+ voices.

Artists considered for this opportunity must:

Be an export-ready artist (able to capitalize on opportunities in Canada and internationally)
Have a current or upcoming release (single / EP / full-length)
Be a Manitoba Music member and a current resident of Manitoba
Not be performing at BreakOut West in February 2022
Be able to perform the evening of January 31, 2022
Be available to participate in meetings round-table discussions during the daytime on January 31 and February 1
Be 18 years of age or older (applies to all band members if applicable)
Be fully vaccinated by two weeks before the performance date
