Winterruption 2022 Brings More Live Music Back to Winnipeg

Winter is almost over and what better way to close off the season than with lots of live music! Winterruption returns March 23 - April 15 with over 45 local acts playing 25+ shows in various Winnipeg venues, including the West End Cultural Centre, The Good Will Social Club, The Handsome Daughter, and X-Cues Cafe & Lounge, presented by the WECC and Real Love Winnipeg.

The stellar lineup of artists hitting stages during this year’s fest includes Bobby Dove, Caid Jones, Diaphanie, El Leon & The Strangers, FONTINE, Ila Barker, Joe Curtis, JP Hoe, Kilusan, Leossa, Matt Foster, New Wales, Paper Machetes, riel., The Lytics, The Noble Thiefs, The Prairie Joggers, Two Crows for Comfort, Vagina Witchcraft, Veneer, and more.

This year’s fest will kick off with a number of afternoon shows at Feast Cafe, The Forks, and True North Square featuring several of the nighttime performers plus Alex Maher, Paige Drobot, Rob Knaggs, Trish Khay, and more. 

Folks can also check out the Winterruption Tactical Urbanism Conference March 24 - 26 at the West End Cultural Centre featuring panel discussions on a variety of topics.
