The Manitoba Country Music Association celebrated the hard work and talent of Manitoba's country music community again this month. The annual Manitoba Country Music Awards gala handed out the hardware at The Met on November 5.

Quinton Blair was the big winner this year, picking up wins in three categories: Male Artist of the Year, Roots Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year (with Jason Blaine). Emma Peterson was a double winner with Album of the Year and Interactive Artist of the Year. Nelson Little also brought home two trophies for Emerging Artist of the Year and Indigenous Artist of the Year. Petric also picked up two awards this year for Group of the Year and Single of the Year.

Music legends The Younger Brothers—Clint, Jim, Keith, and Tom Dutiaume—were inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Hosted by Jason McCoy, the event handed out the hardware and featured performances by Jade Turner, Emma Peterson, Daniel Désorcy, Brandi Vezina, Desiree Dorion, Kendra Kay, Petric, Quinton Blair, Nelson Little, and more.
