Showcase Opportunity: MCMA & SCMA at Canadian Country Music Week

Deadline: Thursday, August 15 at 5 PM 

We are happy to partner with the Manitoba Country Music Association and Saskatchewan Country Music Association for a showcase at Canadian Co9untry Music Week in Edmonton on September 14. This year's showcase will also be featured as part of the CCMA Country Crawl Series.
 
This opportunity is for MCMA and/or SCMA members already attending Country Music Week would would like to perform at the event in addition to any scheduled performances. The MCMA does not provide compensation for travel or accommodations but showcasing acts may be eligible for the Market Access Fund. 
 
Performance slots will be 20-30 minutes. These are acoustic performances that will accommodate up to three vocalists and four instrumentalists. Mostly original material preferred. Performance schedule and show times to be announced after the deadline.
 
Please provide artist promo picture to be used for social media promotion and a short one-paragraph bio with current career highlights to be used by the host for intros. Please specify your preferred slot times between 12 and 4:45 PM.

Although the MCMA will try to accommodate all interested MCMA and SCMA artists, they have limites lots available and times will be prioritized based on the level of each artist's activity and participation in CCMA activities. Slot times may be extended or reduced in time at MCMA's discretion.
