Job Posting: Mobile Stage Coordinator

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Mobile Stage Coordinator to coordinate rentals for our SL100 mobile stage alongside the team at Manitoba Music. This is an opportunity for folks with experience with the SL100, staging live events, strong administrative and customer service skills, and a passion for live events!
This is a contract position with work that is largely seasonal, concentrated between May and September, with other minor administrative work throughout the year. The contract work will be at a rate of $350 per event with an expectation of a minimum of 20 events during a typical season.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate rentals, booking inquiries, and customer support for Manitoba Music’s SL100 mobile stage
- Negotiate, prepare, and administer rental contracts, track usage, and compliance requirements
- Coordinate and schedule stage operators, stagehands, and required staffing
- Coordinate logistics including stage availability, repairs and maintenance, cleaning, and necessary approvals
- Liaise with renters, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate successful events and ensure compliance with safety and insurance requirements
- Maintain records and documentation
- Assist Manitoba Music staff with invoicing and accounts receivable related to rentals and services
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, safety protocols, and Manitoba Music policies
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in administration, event coordination, and customer service
- Experience handling contracts, scheduling, and client relations
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage calendars of multiple events under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with live events, music industry operations, and stage production is an asset
- Proficiency in Google Sheets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Access to a car and a valid driver’s license is required
- SL100 operator certification is required (you must have the training already completed)
