Palm Trees will release their debut album “States” on January 12, 2017 via Winnipeg based label Slow Shine Records.

“States” was recorded and mixed in Winnipeg by Riley Hill (Blisters, Living Hour, Basic Nature) and Mastered  in New York  by Jamal Ruhe (Swans, Built to Spill, Frankie Cosmos.)

Palm Trees has an always evolving and dynamic lineup of musicians. The band currently features members of Living Hour, Slow Spirit, Odd Outfit and Do Make Say Think.

Ethereal sounds of effects-treated guitars along with piano, strings, and swelling horns create a unique and blissful atmosphere.

Palm Trees have contributed a diverse collections of their post-ambient compositions to Real Love Winnipeg's Beach Station Blues III, IV, and V compilation albums.
