Betty Rumbles is the alter ego of Amanda Thompson, a member of the Winnipeg local electronic music scene since the early 90s.

Her play style is usually best described as "Hard" with her canvas made up of Techno, Psy, and several Uptempo genres including Frenchcore and Hardcore.

Betty's hardcore sound would be similar to Lil' Texas, The Hunter, or Unicorn on K. Her techno sounds would fit in with A.N.I., Fantasm, or Lesss. Her regional influences include Dr. Trance, Karma, SOS, Pulse, Hades, and others.

She is also a resident of Kandi-Land as a member of Paramour Electronic Showcase which is currently Winnipeg's longest running club night weekly at Club Happenings.

As a pastor of PLUR, Betty encourages positivity and will absolutely accept your kandi tithing.
