Cerulean Drift is a Winnipeg-based band with a refreshing take on dreamy, nostalgia-inducing indie rock. Much like the ever-changing ocean currents, Cerulean Drift’s music carries the listener through tumultuous waves to the calm of cerulean-blue shores. Combining the breathy yearning of dream pop with the driving crescendos of modern new wave and shoegaze, the true strength of Cerulean Drift lies in their keen sense of melody. With hooks that will bury deep in your psyche, the band’s energetic choruses rise on swirling layers of reverb-laden guitars and synths. Beginning as the bedroom recording project of Ryan Olson, the project has expanded into a 5-piece band with an energetic live show and a debut EP releasing Fall 2022.
