Cerulean Drift is a Winnipeg-based band with a refreshing take on dreamy, modern indie rock. Combining the breathy yearning of dream pop with the driving crescendos of new wave and shoegaze, the strength of the band lies in their keen sense of melody. The band’s energetic songs rise on swirling layers of reverb-laden guitars and swelling synths, with hooks that will bury deep in your psyche. Beginning as the bedroom recording project of Ryan Olson, the project has expanded into a 5-piece band with an energetic live show and a debut EP, Waking Dreams, released at the end of 2022. The band has carried that momentum into 2023 with multiple shows and single releases.
