Cloud Lake is starting out as an experiment in engagement after a collective trauma. Music is about experience, and about translating that experience so folks can relate to it, but the way Artists have been expected to relate to audiences heavily favours ways that enforce systemic forms of oppression on folks. The old ways promote exclusion, prioritize the perspective of youth - boring.
