Grotoko

About

Grotoko is an art and baroque rock project drawing inspiration from classical, psychadelic and grunge music, as well as from visual art, literature and of course its own experiences and the world around it. Its name is a collage of the words, "grotesque" and "rococo". Grotoko’s confessional, optimistic, sometimes nonsensical, and occasionally sarcastic lyrical style attempts to describe, and make sense of frustrations and anxieties, with the hope of creating something mildly beautiful from some uglier things in human experience.
