Welcome to "Bella Jazz 1930s", where the timeless rhythms of swing jazz meet the echoes of Parisian cafés and the energy of New Orleans jazz clubs from 1930s.

Inspired by French legends like Charles Trenet and iconic American artists such as Duke Ellington, “Bella Jazz” blends passion with a playful charm that makes you want to smile, dream, and dance along.

Led by the seasoned vocalist Guylaina and accompanied by the dynamic jazz pianist Dhiego Costa and experienced drummer Rob Siwik, "Bella Jazz" brings together cultures and eras in a captivating musical journey.

Guylaina (vocal) Enriched by her vibrant Latin heritage, Guylaina developed a deep passion for the infectious rhythms of Swing music. Her artistic journey has been shaped by global travel, where she immersed herself in diverse cultures. She further refined her musicality by formal training at both the University of Regina and University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Music.

Since 2016, she has been captivating audiences across Western Canada while actively directing one additional musical act, "Brazilian Vibe", showcasing her versatility and dynamic stage presence.

Dhiego Costa (piano) A versatile and accomplished pianist, Dhiego Costa brings a wealth of experience and deep jazz interpretation to the stage. With a rich background shaped by extensive touring across Brazil, his musical journey is further enriched by his ongoing collaborations with some of Winnipeg's most renowned local artists. His dynamic playing infuses each performance with creativity, precision, and a captivating sense of rhythm.

Rob Siwik (drums) A cornerstone of Winnipeg's jazz scene for over 25 years, Rob Siwik is a skilled drummer known for his expressive style and rhythmic mastery. Having performed with the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra and countless other ensembles, Rob’s extensive experience as both a performer and educator adds a distinctive energy and groove to the band's sound.

Whether performing as an intimate duet or a full ensemble, "Bella Jazz" delivers warmth, passion, and a classic elegance that light up every stage.
