Kasey Kurtz

Kasey Kurtz is a guitarist, composer, arranger and music educator born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Kasey graduated with his Bachelor of Jazz Studies from the Desautels Faculty of Music in 2020 and just recently completed his Bachelor of Education with a major in music in 2023. Over the past decade, Kasey has performed at numerous venues all across Manitoba in a variety of genres including rock, pop and jazz. Notable groups with whom he performs include the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra, The Sadler Sisters, Sir Luc and the Dukes, Little Mountains, and Linzle.

Kasey's playing can be heard on SoundCloud, or you can hear him as a sideman on Still I Rise by Derrick Gardner & the Big dig! Band and State of Play by Common Octopus on any major music streaming service.
