A solo artist using music to describe the caretaker's view of Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis.
In and out of the music industry since the early 00's, Andrew has previously played in bands such as "Starblownapart", and "Boss Logan". He currently serves as the bassist in the band "darkstars", and is the Host of the "Head Full of Radio" Podcast.
Two weeks before the world shut down due to the pandemic, Andrew's wife came home as her MS began to take over. As he began to learn about how to be his wife's caregiver, he found that he was bottling his feelings so that he wouldn't have to deal with them. Her life experience felt so much more difficult, so "why would his matter?"
After months of making mistakes and learning from them, months of fighting through pain and uncomfortable doctor appointments, he'd had enough and began writing music and lyrics to record his journey.
"MORTARS" was released in September of 2020. They describe the love, anger, anxiety, pain, more love, and doubt that anyone would have watching their significant other's body fail them. "Pestles" was released two months later as a four song EP of instrumentals and companion piece to MORTARS.
After some time away from music, Andrew dedicated himself to providing the best care for his partner and began work on new material - an album of covers entitled "DISCONNECTED", released in the fall of 2022.
Andrew is currently working on a new batch of music in the vein of the current 2 song single, "Nothing Worse Than Good".
